“She never changes her plans… does she?”

“The Perfect Father” is a smart, funny and realistic look at the modern metropolitan single woman. With quick, biting dialogue, its heroine deals with all the expectations placed on a woman in her early forties as she tries to “have it all”.

Gale wants to find “the perfect father” for her child, and she takes it so seriously that she hires a handsome, arrogant private detective to find the best candidate. The search turns out to be more complicated than she anticipated, and she finds herself in funny, painful and dangerous situations.

A portrait of the liberated woman of our time, strong and determined but sometimes misunderstood by society, the film follows the ups and downs between two completely different people brought together by fate, and leads us to reflect on the true meaning of motherhood and family.

    Successful, smart, refined, attractive and single, well educated and with strong values. Tired of looking for Mr. Right, she decides to take matters into her own hands and find the perfect father to conceive a child.

  • Detective Ryan Burke

    Private detective

    Sexy, intelligent, determined and proud, a former police officer turned private eye. Hired by Gale to find the perfect father, he is amused at first, but comes to see a side of Gale that many men don’t.

    Gale’s best friend

    Materialistic, attractive, irreverent and shallow, the owner of a modeling agency, and convinced she knows how Gale should live her life.
